MAKING MORE OF DRESDEN

DEAR CITIZENS OF DRESDEN

My name is Albrecht Pallas and I want to be Lord Mayor of Dresden.

Dresden is my home. Here is where I go walking along the Elbe river bank, where I enjoy the museums or the city’s diversity, and where I experience my very own Dresden feeling.

However, this feeling is clouded by the current city leadership: when the transportation infrastructure is in bad condition, when too few opportunities for creative, cultural or economic development exist, some people will want to leave the city and others will not consider moving here because of the lack of prospects - all this is due to the absence of a global vision as well as weak decision-making by City Hall.

As Lord Mayor, I will tackle all these important issues and find the necessary solutions.
Hand in hand with the city council and the municipal administration, I will offer concrete answers to all the big and small questions affecting Dresden.

I want to lead Dresden actively and help it develop even more.
